Any person at least 26 years old and no older than 69 years old who is deemed by us to be authorized to drive the vehicle because the comply with:

- The vehicle Excess amount and the Security deposit amount
- Correct arrival flight number (for an airport station pickup)
- Indication of any extra items selected on booking (additional driver, baby seats, etc.)
- The Booking Terms & Conditions and summary of ABBYCAR Key Rental Terms & Conditions.
- Outside E.U National Driving License Holders
- An International Driving Permit (IDP) accompanied by a valid National Driving license is required.

Most car hire companies will only rent to people who have held a full driving license for three years. A few will accept drivers who have held a full license for one or two years.
Yes, the Additional Drivers must be present at the rental desk with their driving license.

No! The Credit Card Holder must be the person stated in the Car Rental Voucher as the main driver.
A car rental deposit is an amount you will have to set out for a Car Rental Company when renting the car. The deposit amount will be determined by the company to be considering its company policies. This amount will be taken as a security deposit in any case of damages for the cars. You cannot avoid paying deposit money when renting a car.
The Excess in a rental car is the maximum amount you will have to pay in case the car suffers an accident, theft, or great damage. The total amount of the Excess in a rental car ranges from a few hundred euros to thousands of euros, depending on the car rental company and the category of the rental car.
No. Abbycar T&C still apply in this case. You will need a valid credit card in the main driver’s name, which has enough available found to block the amount of security deposit on it. If you do not have a credit card, you can buy our additional insurance (FDW) at the station when picking a car.
It is forbidden to drive on unpaved (non-asphalting, dirt, macadam) roads with a conventional city car that is not suitable for these routes. Penalty fee is applicable in failure to comply. We are using geofences across the area, that alert us when one of our vehicles enters the forbidden zone. Additional, if you book a Jeep car you can drive on unpaved.

Most Countries allow to cross the borders required to pay a supplement or take extra insurance from the hire company if you wish you take the car abroad. Prior authorization from the hire company is always required before taking the vehicle to another country.
